Planning Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating and ensuring material planning and supply, guaranteeing proper availability to meet production plans and customer demand, with a focus on service level, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery performance.

• Coordinate material planning (MRP) activities, ensuring accurate generation and management of purchase orders.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and hardware according to the production plan.
• Monitor and act on material shortages, supplier delays, and supply risks.
• Manage planning parameters (lead time, minimum order quantity, safety stock, reorder point).
• Lead the ordering process with suppliers, ensuring continuous follow-up and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams to resolve deviations.
• Support S&OP/MPS processes, ensuring alignment between demand and supply capabilities.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTD, inventory coverage, inventory turns, backlog, etc.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in planning and supply processes.
• Coordinate and develop the team of planners/buyers, driving performance and capability building.
