Acquisition & Program Buyer

MISSIONS :

• Reporting to the North Amercia Purchasing Director, you will be responsible for sourcing and costing BOM elements for newprograms and tenders for potential new contracts.
• You are responsible for monitoring the development of the purchased product right through to its implementation in seriesproduction.
• You will be responsible for the following activities:
• Quote of raw material, detailed parts and workpackage for the new customer programs under acquisition
• Submit prospect suppliers to the Global Commodity Buyer and participate to supplier panel reviews
• Constant communication with the new acquisition team until the delivery of a formal costing commitment according to theacquisition planning and design maturity agreed during kick off meeting.
• Validation of all prices for buy parts before the communication to the sales leader.
• Involvement of the targeted suppliers at the earliest possible in order to ensure their commitment to conquer the newacquisition
• Launching calls for tender to authorized suppliers on the Latécoère panel
• Quoting Latécoère suppliers for materials, parts and work packages for customer programs in the developmentphase and aquisition phase.
• Award of contract to supplier
• Setting up purchasing information for orders placement
• Monitoring of order launches and delivery deadlines
• Cascade of Latécoère and end-customer requirements to consulted suppliers (Key Business Terms)
• Purchasing management of a workpackage or part under development up to FAI validation and transition to seriesproduction
• Responsible for transferring purchasing responsibilities from the program to the plant buyer
• Program Purchasing KPI management and reporting
• Participation in commodity supplier panel reviews
• Responsible for program Purchasing performance (Cost/Delivery).

PROFILE :
M/F with 4 years' higher education, such as a business school or an engineering degree with a specialization in Purchasing, youhave at least 5 years' experience in a purchasing position, acquired in an industrial environment, preferably aeronautical orautomotive.
A skilled communicator, you are convincing and persuasive. Your rigor combined with a strong results- and performance-orientedculture will be an assets in successfully managing issues in a complex environment (technical, quality, cross-company, etc.). Inaddition to good knowledges in purchasing stategy, purchasing organization, purchasing roles and tools, you can also justifyexperience in program management and development. You are familiar with the work within a program team and eager to workwith your team.
You have strong interpersonal skills (internally and externally) and are able to lead a multi-skilled team:
Fluent professional English, ability to negotiate in English essential.
SAP skills required.
Mastery of Pack Office.
